Nope! The UVBLSC is super beginner friendly while still offering opportunities for more advanced
dancers to build their skills! For many people, joining the UVBLSC is their first entry into the dance world!
Do I need a partner?
Nope! Everyone is welcome and we rotate through partners during class so you will get to know a lot of people!
What shoud I wear/bring?
We recommend wearing clothing you can comfortably move in and ask that you wear clean shoes without too
much grip since we do a lot of turning on one foot in the studio.
You should also bring a water bottle but if you forget there is a water fountain located nearby in McKinnon.
How do I get to the studio?
1. Once you're in McKinnon building, go down the main stairs.
2. Turn left at the bottom, you should see the equipment desk.
3. Take the hallway on the right with the sign pointing towards the dance studio on it.
4. At the end of the hallway, you'll find the studio!
If you get lost, ask the folks at the McKinnon Equipment Desk and they will be happy to send you our way.
